航空公司招聘

在英国要雇人也不是一件容易的事。你不可以指定只雇男性或是女性，不可以指定只雇哪个国家的人，不可以指定身高，当然，长相就更不用说了。所以像这样的一张广告在英国是非法的。

不过刚刚看到一家航空公司的招聘要求：

你必须是18岁以上，而且伸手的最低高度是208厘米。
You must be 18 or above and have a minimum arm reach of 208cm.

这样的身高限制堪称绝。当然如果机舱内的行李箱高度是208厘米的话也是可以理解的。另外还有一条要求：You must be physically fit ，可以理解成“你必须要有健康的身体”，也可以翻译为“你的身材要好”。

我琢磨了这条广告挺久的，越看越有意思！

Ps. 《The Terminal》里面对空姐的一句描述也很有意思：

You better be careful. You know those flight attendants ain’t like regular women, Viktor. They’re flying back and forth between all those time-zones kinda messes with their biological clock or something. always ready for sex. Why do you think they can’t stop smiling? (via here)
